MEDALS, CERTIFICATES AND AWARDS
Evaluation of the Preliminary Round Exams
- All participants in this round will receive a digital participation certificate and a detailed exam report. (No medals or achievement certificates are awarded at this stage.)
- Depending on the total number of participants in each grade, a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 500 students will qualify for the final.
Evaluation of the Final Round Exams
- The top 3 students in each grade group will receive:
- Gold medals: GOLD-1, GOLD-2, GOLD-3
- Hard copy medals and certificates will be sent by mail
- Qualify for Grand Final discounts:
-> 1st Places: 75% discount
-> 2nd Places: 50% discount
-> 3rd Places: 25% discount - Next 15%: Digital GOLD Achievement Certificate
- Next 20%: Digital SILVER Achievement Certificate
- Next 25%: Digital BRONZE Achievement Certificate
- Next 20%: Digital HONORABLE Achievement Certificate
- Next 20%: Digital PARTICIPATION Certificate
Grand Final Discount Conditions:
- Grand Final Discount winners must be part of a group of at least 8 students who will compete in the Grand Final together.
- Alternatively, the Grand Final Discount winner may participate with an accompanying adult. The accompanying person is required to pay the full participation fee. No discounts are available.
- The GF discount winner and the accompanying adult must share a room. They must pay an additional fee if they wish to stay in a single room (if available).
- GF discounts are based on the early bird price, if and when the early bird price has been announced.
- These discounts cannot be transferred to another person or applied to future years.
- These discounts are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Students who are ranked in multiple categories are eligible for a discount only once and the higher discount will be applied.
- These discounts are only valid for Grand Final and not for optional trips or programs.
- These discounts are valid until the regular (late) registration deadline.
- If a student registers and pays the deposit or remaining amount before receiving a discount, the earned discount rate will be refunded.
- Students who win a discount by placing in the top 3 cannot use this discount if they register for the olympiad as Limited Participants. All Limited Participants will be charged the lower amount between their discounted price and the Limited Participant price (if quotas are available for limited participants).
